I found an old Weaver K4 E 4x32 in a bag of parts and it is complete and in good condition (I remember when I took it apart now) except for 1 of the lenses inside. It is broken, and needs to be replaced.
Because I know someone will ask:
It had some strange rainbow oil slick fog on the lens and it chipped(?) when prodded with a screwdriver. Surface contaminant could not be removed with cleaners or acetone. I have no clue what it was and it was like that when I got it so I am still wondering how it got there.
I've called someone in Alberta but no response yet, so I was wondering if anyone local would like to do this / can do this?
I know a replacement K4 is about $200 new and a used off E-bay is around $30-60. Any ideas who might have parts if all else fails?
