G'day Lads,

Well I have been home from our BC trip a few weeks now and decided it was time to get over the awesome time we had and get back to what I know and went hunting our local hogs again.

I went out with a mate looking for pigs, we walked over 15klms for the week end as the flood plains are still too wet for the ATV.

We found a shallow wet season billabong (more of a saltwater flood pan) and we found four salties in less than 600 mtrs!

We came to the last swamp and were disapointed to not see any hogs. As we stood in the shade taking a break I spotted a nice solid Boar coming along the edge of the reeds. The wind was perfect so I stalked into around 10 yards and put a Woody's Supreme through the boiler room and he was down in around 12 yards, I was stoked with such an effective kill.

My mate also dropped an excellent boar, he is a little shy so no pics of his kill.

Hope you enjoy the pics.

Cheers Noel

Hey Noel looks like a very interesting place you hunt. Nice pics of the croc. I can see where that adds a whole new degree of difficulty wading threw water.

Nice hog, inteceptor. Nice country up there. I spent a couple month's in the Northern Territories several years ago and it was great. Hunted the ferral pigs, fished for sharks and mackeral.
have a G'day mate

Look at da teef on tha bugger! That's a nasty looking pig, don't think I would want him buzzing around my legs.
Thanks for the view from the south hemishpere Noel. We'll appreciate all the pics that you care to post.

G'day Lads,

Glad you all like the pics. Those gators are pretty nasty, I have walked onto a couple in the last few years, you can find them in small puddles the size of a small car so it pays to keep an eye out!

I have heaps more pics too.

Cheers Noel

Great job on the hog!!! Cool pics of the local wildlife. Hunting around there has a serious element of danger!
