Thats how I kill my summer months around home, rabbits and scouting. Either bow, or .22, and the occasional one with a .308 when I am after yoties.

My best day I counted 50+ when I was snag falling the roads out. Good areas are The Jameson Creek, and Greenstone mountain.

where do you see them up greenstone? Like in the bush or running accross the road? Ive never seen a rabbit around kamloops, but hunting with wildfoot we seen tons of tracks around tappen, but no rabbits. Ive never hunted rabbit before but would really like to try now and get one!!

Last year I saw none, I think I have seen about five so far this year. Every one I almost step on them when they are hiding in brush, they run ten feet and stop and don't move till you do, then their gone.

Rabbit hunting is tons of fun!

Easiest way is to walk down old grown-in roads that are surrounded by young, mixed species forest. .22lr is fun, bow is the best.

These are not from Kamloops area, but I have had good luck up Surrey/Sussex Lake and Greenstone mtn.
