Had a great day of fishing. Here is a picture of the one that didn't get away. It weighed 10 lbs and was 76 cm long. Even the CO was impressed.

I agree!

Very beautiful fish. I've never caught one of those. Wonder what they taste like? Is it true that Lac La Hache is the most southern lake those beauties can be found, or is there some place near Salmon Arm or Armstrong that is more south? Wish we had them in the Kootenays.

Nice catch!

Nice fish.
I think those can be caught in Kalamalka, Sugar, Mabel, Echo, etc etc etc
Can't prove it by my catch, though.

I caught this one in Narrow Lake, SE of Prince George. We were using silver wobblers.
Marc, it's all in the way the picture is taken.

My buddy pulled a 26 lb. from Kalamalka last summer, I heard many years ago that a 70 lb laker was cought in lac la hache. My grandfather used to catch em 40 -50 lbs back in his day in lac la hache! Im pretty sure theyre in okanagan lake also!
