When will the run start showing up in the Sooke area ?
I hear this year will be a good one.
I have a trip planned from July 21 - 30.
Hope I hit it at the right time.

Thanks

I was in at Eagle eye getting my license and they said that there were some hatchery coho showing up as well as sockeye but only a few pinks.

Hope I hit it at the right time.

I'm on the phone constantly with my brother right now planning my own trip to the area, what a co-incidence.

You hit at a decent time. That'll be near the end of Chinook season over 65cm, pinks and sockeye will be open, however unfortunately coho aren't open until mid August.

Where about will you be going, and with what tools (fly rod, jet boat, etc)?

I'll be going out of Pedder bay.
Trolling mostly off of Church Rock. But may go out a mile of so further for pinks of things get too slow trying for springs. The wife & son get too bored with only a few strikes in 6 hrs.
I'll have some good bottom gear to and will try Halibut off Race Rocks too.
