Unless you're a specialist (ie strictly fly fisherman), you must be able to vary your method and/or tackle in order to find them and what it is they're taking. If you don't have this ability and knowledge, you could go home skunked. Just my 2 cents worth.

I am strictly fly. not that i have anything against gear i just enjoy the fly more and find it much more productive. I fish mostly chronomids and usually do well. was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the lake and if they knew any particularly productive spots/depths. thanks again.

Most of the lakes up there all you need is a shrimp fly in red8) I have switched from gear to fly and that is the only fly I carry in different colours.

Another one not sure on the name is black like an ant with a little bit of red.

Nuff said now get out there and slay some trout:mrgreen:
