Pretty sure they run skeet from about 9 till noon, anyone else interested in heading out? Trap runs after lunch if I remember correctly...

Very best,

I'll be there this weekend. Not sure of the start time though, I thought it was 10am but the guys show up at 9 for coffee (Dave will know for sure).
It's pretty casual, when I went they never kept score which is fine for me. I'm still at the point where I my hit total and miss total are pretty close!
Trap starts around noon and will run all afternoon.

Wanna plan to meet there for 10?

easy thing with skeet is, if you are carrying you extra target beyone station 5, you know your have a good day so actual score matters not!

Sounds like a plan to me. The boys and I will be there at 10:00 (or there abouts). Skeet that's the game where they go sideways right?

A great morning was had by all. There was shooting, laughing and even a few clays broken. It was good to get together with friends and meet Michel (future friend I'm sure). This will have to become a regular event, the fall season is really only a few months away.

It was a hoot, and a great way to meet Dave and his boys and Dano too.

Great to meet Michel and get together with Ian and Dave and the boys too. I told you guys I can keep score of my hits pretty easily! Next week will be different though, I'm sure.
We have trap wednesday night, 6pm start. Looks to be good weather too.

Nothing like a round or two of skeet to dust to old cobwebs out of the attic! Been too long for me! Definetly be something to do again and hopefully not too far in the future!

I think we need to all hook up for a round of sporting clays at one of the other clubs over the summer, now there would be some serious laughs!

Very best,

Ian

I just finished refinishing the stock on the Browning BSS I picked up. It turned out even better than expected.:-D I'm just looking for a reason to get out and give it a try.

I don't know, I think I left plenty for breeding stock.

That was me who left plenty of breeding stock! :)
I believe you shot 25, 24, 24, and 23...... and broke most of them well!
Nice shooting!

Now we just need to get in negotiations with the duck union and have them all fly like trap targets over Dave's island!

What is the scoop with this club? I have been given a sxs 12 guage and would love to learn how to shoot it. New hunter / licences this year. Have not even shot it yet. Figure I should get out and practice a bit before this fall. I live in New West, shoot at the Saperton 22 range. This would be reasonably close.

Thanks
James
