Our friends at the Canadian Wildlife Federation are now accepting nominations for the 2016 Conservation Awards .

Each year, we learn about incredible individuals and groups who demonstrate their commitment to wildlife conservation through active involvement. They may be long-time volunteers, wildlife professionals or a group of youth paving the way for the future of wildlife.

This year, the team is very excited about our awards and the inclusion of a new category:

WILD Educator of the Year Award: Recognizes an exceptional WILD Education Facilitator or instructor who utilizes CWF’s education program (Project WILD, Below Zero, WILD About Sports) and provides innovative and meaningful experiences for youth that focus on wildlife and the building of a conservation ethic.

In total, there are 9 award categories, including the Doug Clarke Memorial Award which recognizes any conservation project that was completed during the previous year by any Canadian Wildlife Federation affiliate, its clubs, or its members.

Without nominations from you - the CWF Executive, Board of Directors, and our Affiliates – the Canadian Wildlife Federation Conservation Achievement Awards would not be a success. We are interested in any individuals/groups that you think are worthy of an award.

Please let us know if you have any questions about the nomination process. The deadline for submissions this year is January 31st, 2016.
