I was hunting last weekend up near Merritt and took this big bodied muley. He was 4x3 with a few stickers near the brow tine. I didn't get the weight from the butcher yet but he's the biggest dear I've dragged out of the bush.
Hope the pic works

Wow that is one big animal, I'd be curious of how much that sucker weighed. It’s got to be the biggest bodied deer I’ve ever seen. Kind of reminds me of an elk. ;)

Hey lt
what do you think, Is that deer 300lbs on the hoof? That deer looks alot bigger than the mulie I got last year. It looks like a cow elk

I bet he was close to 300lbs cause I'm almost 200lbs and he was bigger than me. Luckily I did shoot him above the truck. My buddie and I had to drag him uphill about 6 feet and we could only move him 6 inches at a time. It was a bit of work, and a lot of fun.

The harder the work the sweeter the meat. That big boy will taste like candy. Good for you, I'm jealous:icon_frow:icon_frow

That's huge. I think you could fit both of my blacktail bucks inside that one. It sounds like you have a sweet spot where they grow big. Nice job.

Well done Lt.

I think it was a young buck going up cause his teeth were sharp and not worn down like an older buck. i think I remember seeing that buck last year, only he was a three point, or maybe I couldn't see the fourth but it was smaller and had the same style rack. The two other bucks that were with this one both had odd non typical racks, must be a odd gene.
