I was up behind Murrey lake Saturday and was just about ran over by 2 mulies, the last one was easily a 4pointer no sure about the other, they were moving like they were being chased. They went down the draw and disappeared, picked them up on the other side going up the hill still running???? I could'nt even begin to guess how far they were. Good day was had, great to here you got one despite not getting you bull. Not a bad consollation prize. Were getting down to the short strokes. And I still want a G-Dam bear.:mad:

We only hit now at about 3800ft, having said that all the animals we saw were down in the valley bottom. I even tried my bear call at the cut blocks just before the entry to the park, scared the hell out of somthing, the bush was snapping and crashing for quite a long time. Sometimes I hate that thing:mad::mad:

Freshtracks, I only saw little spots of snow while in behind Murray lake. I saw more snow in the tops of the hills above the Skagit. The roads in Reg 3 were ugly. Gumbo everywhere. must have rained enough to melt the first snows.

We were about 12km south of Gilles lake. Every step I took I was getting taller and my boots were getting heavier. I just about needed my chains just get up the road I was on. Must have been lower alt. than you 3kills we could see snow on the peaks but not on the ground where we were. Q: does this new kill for you mean a name change:?:
