Do any of you guys know wether the Merritt shoot has been improved from last Year ?? Specifically I need to know wether the " A " side has been made more friendly for 6 year old shooters and 62 yr old shooters. There are a large number of shooters from Quesnel wanting to come but if that sand hill and steep ravine are in there there will be second thoughts. 2 years ago it was a great shoot ! last year it was an endurance test for the young lions. Need to know before pre-registering Thanks Mike

Darcy within the next 2 weeks would be good. I have the time booked off but if that sand hill is there the missus can't walk it and It is extremely tough for me not to mention my grand kids. Any info would be good thank you. Mike

The course will be changed up this year. the backlog on the A side was found to be more of an issue than the steepness. also the long walks between some of the targets didnt work too well. the course layout hasnt been set up yet, but it will be improved on from last year. there will likely still be some rough terrain, but nothing as extreme as last year. there are plenty of rolling hills and smaller gullies to use without crossing the road and going into that canyon!

by the way, please let me know any feedback or suggestions that you may have for the Merritt shoot. if i get time, i'll be helping set it up. if i cant find the time, i'll certainly pass your comments on to the people that are running the shoot.
