http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_3_17.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZSYYYYYYJOCA)Who's going? We have quite a few 'new' archers who have surfaced in the last little while so it would be good to get outside and play.

Not to mention any names here......but I will be looking forward to seeing Hermit, Hutch, Franko, and Bowsitter's son (10 X'er) out practising at the target butts around 8 a.m. on the day in question.

I like to get there at least by 8 o'clock just to have a leisurely coffee and smooze a bit - then hit the butts for a few warm ups before the horn blows.

Anyone interested in meeting there?http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_33_7.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZSYYYYYYJOCA)

Aghhhh. I am not available... the war department and chief of empty nest investigations says I am going to Vancouver to visit with recently departed daughter.

If Franko is available for the shoot, I'm sure he'll have something to say/add to your post.......and most likely not too flattering.

I really wish I could go... maybe we can get out to the range the follwoing weekend for another sesson? I finally bought a membership to the Vic Fish and Game Club so wouldn't mind checking out that range one day too! My bow is now torqued up to 55 lb and it actually shoots much better. Practicing every second day now and starting to feel comfortable with it. :-)

Where do you guys shoot? I have a bag that I shoot up at my outlaws just past humpback rd. We have a couple retired foam deer from F&G that we shoot there as well for hunting practice. Do you guys practice up at fish and game club?

I/we can practice at either the F&G Club or the Vic Bowmen Club. It would be great to get a group together and do some shooting.

The F&G club at the top of the Malahat have a rudimentary 3D course that is available almost all the time. Targets are few and far between though.:-(

Vic Bowmen also has Field course as well as a 3D course. Targets are better maintained and more prevalent.

It all depends on what you want and where you want to go. All are welcome though.
