Windthrow or falling trees takes longer after fires because the burnt trees get hardened to rot (vs post beetle) and their is not crown to catch...

I can only give you a tip using fly rods and line especially. You get the heavy fast sinking rate fly line. Put about a 10-15 foot leader on it....

Some life jacket laws are ridiculous. You don't need a life jacket on a surf board, but if you add a paddle to your surf board you need one. :)
